What Are Dental Implants?
Dental implants are a permanent, strong, and safe way to replace a missing tooth. The root is replaced by a titanium rod that fuses to your bone and then gets “restored” with a crown designed to match the natural shade of your real teeth.
Can Anyone Get A Dental Implant?
More or less. We have found that most people can get dental implants with no problems. That said, you need to have enough bone in your jaw to allow the artificial root to take hold.
If you don’t have sufficient bone density, mini dental implants can usually solve that problem, or you could get bone grafts with oral surgery so there’s enough bone to work with.
Beyond that, you also need to have good oral health overall.
Is The Procedure Painful?
Not really. It is only a minor surgical procedure. And we will do everything in our power to make it a pain-free and pleasant experience for you. That includes employing sedation dentistry techniques to ensure that your visit is comfortable. We have two sedation dentistry options available: nitrous oxide and oral medication.
Do Dental Implants Feel Natural?
Our implants are made to feel like your own teeth would. They will fit comfortably and securely in your mouth allowing you to chew with confidence and flash a big smile whenever you want.
Will Implants Make Me Look Younger?
Yes! For one thing, your smile will be complete again. And there will be more facial structure support. So, you will look younger and feel better.
Will Dental Implants Last A Lifetime?
That depends on what you do in regards to oral hygiene practices.
Implants require regular maintenance, just like real teeth.
Brushing twice a day for two or more minutes, flossing and rinsing regularly, and visiting the dentist every three to six months will keep you smiling for years to come.
